About
Disciples In Action
Disciples In Action (DIA) was born from a shared vision between Julia Waring and Constance Roberts, two individuals united by their passion and calling to serve God in a greater capacity. Through a heartfelt conversation, they discovered that their individual visions complemented one another, sparking the idea for a united mission. That pivotal moment brought DIA to life—a collaborative effort to create a meaningful, faith-driven impact. Together, Julia and Constance seek to inspire, uplift, and guide others in their journey of faith and action.
Mission
Our mission is to provide discipleship training and resources that empower individuals to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Through fellowship, outreach, and transformative retreats, we create a safe space for growth, spiritual development, and community building. With a strong foundation in Matthew 28:19-20, we are committed to creating a community of disciples who make disciples.
Vision
We envision a world where disciples of Jesus Christ are equipped, empowered, and engaged in transforming lives and communities through the message of love, hope, and salvation. By creating a supportive network of believers, we aim to expand the reach of our ministry and foster spiritual growth worldwide.

Originally from Prichard, Alabama, and now residing in Louisville, KY, Julia is a U.S. Army veteran, a four-time Bodybuilding Olympian, and a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. Driven by her calling to glorify God, Julia leads as both a Children’s and Women’s Ministry Leader, empowering individuals of all ages to pursue health, career, and spiritual growth. During the COVID pandemic, Julia answered God’s call to lead a women’s online Bible study, a journey that ignited her passion for women’s ministry. Alongside her close friend Constance, Julia expanded this mission, leading to the founding of Disciples in Action and the DA SPOT Women’s Retreat. Supported by her God-fearing husband, Bryan, and her strong sisterhood in Christ, Julia finds joy in helping others thrive spiritually and personally. When she’s not serving others, she enjoys traveling, journaling, outdoor activities, and living her faith through fitness. For Julia, prioritizing God ensures a life that is both balanced and purpose-filled, aligned with each season's unique demands.
